Today I am featuring my very first boudoir image. It was taken in the year 2000. The model is my good friend Irena; she was helping me to practice studio photography. At the time I was doing an apprenticeship with a small town photo studio on the East Coast. Little did I know then, boudoir photography would be one day my great passion and full time work here in beautiful California. The pose of course was inspired by a Victoria Secret image. Then this photo was taken on film and hand developed. Yes, hand developed in complete darkness. Probably I spent half of my apprenticeship in the dark room. Oh yes, good old days and no photo shop, we had to paint and spray on images in order to retouch them. I scanned this old photograph and touched it up a bit to showcase it on this blog. For this Holiday Season I want to bring angel wings back to the studios and ordered large size wings.
From October to February we are running a Promotion called “Angel Wings”.
All of our clients are welcome to participate.
Have fun- be a Victoria Secret Model and take a couple of photos during your session with angel wings on.
We will publish your best angel wings image on our Facebook page and the model which gets the most likes will receive a free bikini beach session in spring 2018 (all edited images included).
Make sure to mention “Angel Wings” when you come for your photo shoot appointment!
